The Story of Perumizhalai Kurumba Nayanar

In the town of Perumizhalai, there lived a man named Perumizhalai Kurumba Nayanar. He was a dedicated follower of Shiva and was known for his unwavering devotion to other devotees. He loved to serve them, offering them food and hospitality, and he would often know their needs before they even spoke.

He was filled with a deep longing to be with his beloved master and the Lord. He could not bear the thought of being left behind.

Using his powerful yogic abilities, Perumizhalai Kurumba Nayanar decided to leave his mortal body behind and travel to Kailash. He concentrated his mind and soul, and through his spiritual power, he was able to leave his physical form. He reached Kailash before Sundarar, where he was united with Shiva and granted a permanent place at the god's feet.
